What does it mean when Albi shows "Low quantity"?

Your Albi is alerting you! This message appears when, based on the quantity you indicated when pouring, the wine in the Smart Bag is running low. You might still have 0, ½ or 1 glass available, but the actual quantity may vary.

Why does Albi rely on my estimate?

When you pour wine into the Smart Bag, the app asks you to indicate how much wine you've added by choosing from three options:

  • Full (approximately 750 ml = 6 glasses)
  • More than half (approximately 4 glasses)
  • Less than half (approximately 2 glasses)

The system calculates remaining glasses based on your initial selection. The estimate might not be perfectly accurate because:

  • The original bottle may have contained more or less than the standard 750 ml
  • Some wine might have remained in the bottle during pouring
  • Your visual assessment of "half" might not correspond exactly to 375 ml

Can I continue pouring even when it shows "0 glasses"?

Absolutely! Albi never blocks dispensing. Even when the display shows 0, there might still be some excellent sips in your Smart Bag. Our advice? Keep pressing the button until no more wine comes out - only when you see nothing coming out is it truly empty.

How to get every last drop?

  1. Continue dispensing even after the "Low quantity" message
  2. Watch carefully - when the flow stops completely, it's time to remove the bag
  3. Pour the remainder - if you still sense wine inside, extract the Smart Bag and pour it directly into your glass with gentle pressure

Why does some wine always remain in the bag?

It's a completely natural phenomenon. Every wine has its own "physical personality" - some are more viscous, others more fluid - which influences how it moves through the Smart Bag. Our system is designed to respect these characteristics, ensuring perfect dispensing that preserves aromas and flavors. If a few milliliters remain in the bag, it's because we've chosen tasting quality above all else.

💡 Smart Tip: When Albi shows "Low quantity," it's the perfect time to order your next Smart Bag from the app. That way you'll always be ready for your next tasting!
